Echoes from the past

I had fun at BTV on Tuesday on Carles Flavià’s program. It was a laugh – a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It wasn’t a very serious interview – I think that his program is more fun than formal. For those of you who were waiting something much deeper – don’t worrrry – I promise you that soon I’ll have a calendar up with dates for talks, conferences and half-day workshops – for all who want to delve deeper into the world of running that we love so much.

On an equally positive note – we’re getting ready to set off for a little escape, to recharge our batteries. This well deserved adventure will take us to France. But not only will we be wandering the lanes of France, but also those of the past. We’re visiting a friend of mine, Elena Townshend O’Loughlin and her family, whom I haven’t seen in almost 30 years – from when I was 12 years old. Take that for a blast from the past!
So after an intense working day, and an equally busy season, we’re letting ourselves relax, recharge and remake an old friendship from many years ago.
Vito is washed and ready, Sheela is already whining by the door dressed her coat, ready for the cold, and Siscu and I, after a little run to get our bodies in motion after so much typing – will all set off for France! ¡Vive la France et la bonne joie!
¡Kilometrate!

C’était dingue l’entretien avec Flavià. C’est sur qu’il n’est pas le plus sérieux du monde!!!!
