Trips, Talks and Running Camp
These last weeks have been hectic but great. I’ve had several talks and even managed a trip to Athens to see my family, after which, Frank, Oz, the dogs and I drove up to Madrid to Carmen’s house. I had several meetings in Madrid regarding speaking engagements and then spent 3 days in the Marathon Expo with my Running Camp 2013 and my book. Oz and Carmen were in the Marathon organisation and Siscu worked from Carmen’s house – said house has been well and truly invaded with humans, dogs and joy!
The expo wend extremely well, there was great interest in the Running Camp – registrations start this week and will probably close soon as there are very limited places. In talks it’s fine to talk for huge groups, but in the Running Camp what’s important is to have plenty of quality time with with each participant. What makes us stand out is not only the unique content, but also the time we have to spend with each person’s particular needs.
The Running camp is a wonderful experience!
A great Coca-Cola welcome to Istanbul
Yesterday afternoon I gave my first keynote speech for the Coca-Cola Eurasia y Africa Group here in Istanbul – I went phenomenally well. The group was incredible, though this wasn’t a surprise for me…when you gather 160 fired up marketing experts from such a strong and successful company, it’s hardly surprising that the audience will be energised, motivated, intelligent and very open to new thoughts and ideas. And it was just so – it was a huge pleasure sharing my experiences with them.
This morning it’s time for more with my second key note speech at 9am, after which I’m off for the airport to return to BCN as tomorrow morning I have another talk for General Elecric – another city, another group but I have no doubt they’ll be great.
What a warm and wonderful welcome Coca-Cola has given me here in Istanbul. From the first moment they have taken care of my every need with a warmth that shows just what sort of people they are – congratulations Team Coca-Cola!
Be Excellent!
