Memories of my 90 km night training!

I don’t think that I need to say too much here, other than enjoy the video by clicking on the link below:

The preparations are going wonderfully, and with each day that passes I’m getting more excited about facing this new challenge!

Inaugurating my running shoes for the challenge!

Today was a day, not so much of physical preparation for the challenge, but more for the logistical side. In Distance store I was able to get my running shoes fro the challenge, along with equipment for the bike that will be accompanying me during both nights of my long long run.
Following that Vilaprat and I had a meeting with Joan Turro of Katacrack shirts regarding the official clothing for the challenge – how exciting…it’s getting closer!
To finish up the productive day, we went for a run on Carretera de les Aigües to inaugurate my running shoes. It was awonderful run – my orange shoes seemed to fly on their own. I suspect that during my 315 km run, they’ll need a little more persuasion!

Vilaprat is a great friend and has been a huge support – especially nos as Siscu is practically tied to his keyboard trying to finish two very important projects before we leave for th challenge.
Thanks Vilaprat fro helping me cross so many things off the list today!

My next Challenge: 315 km running non-stop to help feed people in crisis

I’m thrilled to be able to present my next solo extreme endurance running challenge! As you already know, I’ll be launching my partnership with the Trussell Trust foodbank network in the UK with this next non-stop run.

This challenge promises to be the toughest I’ve run yet without stopping. I feel strong and ready, both physically and mentally, and with such an important charity, such an exciting arrival planned and such a wonderful team, I know I’ll have the incentive to keep running even at the bleakest moments.

The details of this new adventure can be found by clicking on the challenge’s banner to the right of this blog, and over the next ten days I’ll be posting more news and details regarding the route, the support crew, and the send-off and arrival.

I’ll leave you now so that you can read on…
